The FSI D74 received the highest rating in a professional stump grinder test carried out in summer 2025 by Germany’s leading forestry magazine, Forst & Technik.
Professional arborists tested four stump grinders in the 55 kW class across real working environments including gardens, commercial sites, and forests. Beech, ash, spruce, and various hardwood stumps formed part of the test.
The verdict from the testers was clear: the FSI D74 delivered where it matters most, on the stump.
“The performance on the stump has to be right,” says professional arborist Carsten Lemke.
