We’re proud to unveil the latest addition to our range of professional stump grinders: the FSI B31-980 REMOTE.  

Built with the well-known features of the FSI B31-749 and -980 models, the narrow design, great maneuverability and powerful performance. This new model in the B31-series brings remote control operation to the forefront – offering increased operator comfort, better site visibility, and improved control on uneven terrain. 

“With the B31-980 REMOTE, we’re taking a successful machine and making it even more intuitive to operate,” says Launy Luckmann, Development Engineer at FSI. “Remote control brings a new level of flexibility and comfort — especially when working on tough terrain or around obstacles. There’s no doubt that remote control adds serious appeal, as early interest clearly shows.” 

The B31-980 REMOTE combines remote-control functionality with its original compact design, with only a few changes: 

• FSI power-sweep – intelligent sweep control that automatically adjusts sweep speed for efficient stump grinding. 

• Optional rear-mounted dozerblade – ideal for increasing cutting depth and levelling the ground after stump removal. 

• Updated dimensions –Changes in weight, height and length. See the datasheet for full specifications. 

 The FSI B31-980 REMOTE will be presented at several upcoming industry events. In the UK, it will make its debut at The ARB Show on 17–18 May 2025. For the German market, it will be showcased at Demopark from 22–24 June. Both events will offer visitors the chance to get hands-on with the new model.
